Free LCD monitor!

RayLucke.com The free LCD monitor offer

Update: They now have a free Playstation Portable deal!

The other day I was looking up some information about a project I was working on, and found a link to a site that offers free LCD monitors and televisions. The idea is that you go to their site and sign up for something, then refer eight people who do the same. Normally I wouldn't do one of these things because it seems like they're usually scams. In this case, however, the same guys also previously ran a similar program with iPods, and I remember lots of people commenting that they received their iPods as promised.

Because they have a reputation for fulfilling their side of the bargain, I've decided to try it out and try to get a new LCD monitor for simply signing up one of the many "special offers" they have, and referring 8 people. I simply signed up for the RealPlayer SuperPass 14-day trial, which I tried out for a few days, didn't use it much, so I canceled. I figure if you want to try this, you will do the same.

So I figure, since they've got a good reputation thus far, I'll try them out. Worst thing I can lose is a small amount of time. When I did the research on the LCD monitors and TV's they mention, most are worth over $300 each, a couple over $400 each.

I've done a little price research on their offerings:

As you can tell, if you want the most out of this deal, you will want to get the Sony 19" LCD monitor or the Toshiba 24" TV/DVD/VCR combo. I chose the Sony 19" LCD monitor because it's the largest LCD screen. If I can get myself one of those for simply signing up to a trial SuperPass membership and referring a less than ten people, I'll be a very happy guy.

In summary, I think this is actually a great deal, assuming they ship as promised like they did with the iPods a few months ago. Their TV and monitor offerings are wonderful, especially for getting them for "free", and in regards to the offer you have to sign up to, they have such a wide selection of offers, almost anybody will find something interesting. Finding eight friends shouldn't be a problem for most people either. In short, I think this is something to at least try. The worst you'll lose out of this deal is a few minutes of time.

Now go sign up!
